Result guaranteed!

Result Guaranteed! Was first made in 2020 at the most wonderful site, in Spriten Kunsthall in Skien, Norway. It has been the goal to transform the initial huge installation over 6 floors, into a new and more condensed version to enable a tour.

Result Guaranteed! is an interdisciplinary art project initiated by composer and script writer Stefan Thorsson, in collaboration with visual artist and set designer Camilla Wexels Riser & dramaturg/performer Liv Kristin Holmberg, in addition; performer Gisle Hass is choreographed by Siri Jøntvedt and the musician Ruhi Erdogan, based in Copenhagen is playing his trumpet live. The project takes its starting point in Hermann Hesse’s novel “Steppenwolf”; in particular the design and ideas of [the idea of] the magical theatre, based upon and inspired by C.G. Jung’s thesis about our dream life and multiple identities. The participating artists were all invited to collaborate out of their individual need and interest in various dramaturgical strategies connected to stage art, which may open up hierarchies and borders between text, music, dance, performance and installation art. The results of the continuous working process lead us to find our way into the “magic” – where Hesse’s ideas and metaphors of the magic theatre could be conceived as an image of the human mind. In this first of ambulant versions, the Theatre – with its many doors and rooms, levels and stages – displayed varying content and experiences that suggested ways and methods in the meeting of oneself.

In 2024 we have a slightly different artistic crew than the first edition from 2020.
